About the event
Lloyd Ecodistrict and Portland's Human Access Project have invited Climate Curious for a special behind-the-scenes session at their final Duckworth Docks party of the season on Wednesday, August 28th. If you haven't checked one of these out yet they're a total trip! Bike or walk to meet us at the docks off the East Side Esplanade at 4:45, and at 5pm we'll have a talk with event organizers about why equal access to a clean river is so important to Portland's climate resiliency, and some of the exciting work they've been doing to make that possible.
Then the DJ kicks on about 5:30 or 6. Break out a picnic, buy a hotdog, go for a swim, responsibly rock those BYO bevvies. These events are always a fun, light vibe with a mixed crowd - friends, fam, and kiddos all very welcome! If we're lucky, the DJ will bust out a bagpipe to play over the EDM he's spinning (I'm not making this up).
